Saving the world gets harder in Pandemic: State of Emergency. This expansion introduces three modules: the Hinterlands Challenge, where diseases jump from animals to humans; the Superbug Challenge, featuring an untreatable fifth disease that must be stopped with vaccines; and Emergency Events that create unpredictable new obstacles.

New roles, quarantine markers and adjustable challenges let you fine-tune the difficulty of every game.

Requires the Pandemic base game. For 2–4 players, ages 8 and up. Plays in approximately 45 minutes.
